Heraclitus Wins Presidency

In a shocking turn of events pre-socratic philosopher Heraclitus won the Presidency of the United States, making him the first undead greek president.  A Nice Place™ would be remiss to forget our first undead president, Ronald Reagan.  In his victory speech Heraclitus said:

If there is anyone out there who still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible; who still wonders if the dream of our founders is alive in our time; who still questions the power of our democracy, tonight is your answer.

He went on:

Its been a long time coming, but tonight, because of what we did on this day, in this election, at this defining moment, change has come to America.

Parmenides was unavailable for comment.

We here at A Nice Place™ congradulate Heraclitus on his historic achievement.

Damn it all! I told him to stay in the Delorian!

Atleast Parmenides didn’t resort to a campaign based off a cult of personality.

  3. Keljeck says:

I think you’re misunderstanding Brain in a Jar, Parmenides wasn’t running, but he is one of John McCain’s old school chums.
